Pan con tomate (bread with tomato) is a typical dish of the south of Spain. It is very similar to Italian “bruschetta” as it consists of a slice of bread and a ripe tomato rubbed on it with a little olive oil and salt.
It is considered an accompaniment or a tapa (appetizer), and often Spanish people eat it for breakfast, sometimes with the addition of raw ham or cheese.
The preparation is simple, here the recipe.
