Cultural points of interest consist of the recently finished San Juan Bautista cathedral; (which took 400 years to build so include several stylistic influences, renaissance, gothic, and baroque, with a modern façade) and Albacete museum which houses an impressive collection of archaeology, fine art and ethnology. The Posada del Rosario, now the tourist office is another example of the mix of styles. The 16th century Monastery of the Encarnation is another example of impressive religious architecture. The stunning ceiling is made from copper and there is a two parted Cloister. It is now a cultural centre.
